Holy Week: Palm Sunday

Welcome To REUNION

We are glad that you are here. We hope that you feel save, welcomed and relaxed. We are going to read the Bible, pray, sing a few songs and listen to a short Lead In. We might even have discussions

But.. you’re invited to participate as much as you want.

No expects you to speak or share. We do invite you to remain present. We believe that remaining present - even in our minds - is an act of love.

Notes: Today’s Narrative is based on the gospel accounts from Matthew 21, Mark 11, Luke 19 & John 12. Wesley has taken some creative licence but please trust that he hasn’t “messed” with scripture’s story.

Breakout Questions to Consider:

  • What did you do last weekend?

  • What stood out to you from the Image and or story from this morning?

  • Have you ever held or been held to unhealthy expectations?

    • How do you react to the idea: “Unhealthy expectations are rooted in a lack of knowledge about the other person?”

  • In what ways do you wish Jesus was more like Pilate?

  • What expectations do you have for holy week?

  • What do you think about allowing Jesus to be Jesus?

    • how are we able to step back from our expectations?

    • what steps can we take this week to listen/watch and learn about Jesus?

  • Is there someone you could invite to our weekend gatherings?

    • What is your reaction to inviting someone to our gathering?
